Thanks for returning your goal sheet so promptly. The Star Chamber met on Friday, January the 29th. I guess you left school early that day for a doctor’s appointment. Are you going to live? No one told you about it because no one is allowed to discuss Chamber business outside the Star Chamber sessions. People have been killed for less!!! The rest of the members wanted to vote you out, but I talked them out of it. You’re welcome. By the way, I didn’t believe any of that doctor stuff anyway. You probably went to Tijuana with your girlfriend. |
A couple of notes on your goal sheet. First, start looking at some good Division II schools that you would enjoy going to school at and perhaps playing ball. Not that you aren’t good enough to play Division I, but you never know how coaches will evaluate you on the collegiate level. Wade and Jasiah are good examples. Also, it’s not too early to start thinking about what you might want to study in college. |
On your physical profile, shoot to get your 40 time down to consistent 4.7s. Only black athletes run 4.5 and sometimes mexicans when they are running away from the border patrol. Now you know why I am so fast. Your other strength goals are good. If you make them you will set yourself up for a great senior year. On your personal football goals, try to be more specific about your immediate goal. With your ultimate goal, make it your intermediate goal and more specific (something like scoring at least 150 defensive points). Your ultimate goal should be something like making All-League or All-CIF. You can even make it something like playing on the next level. You decide. |
I have made a copy of your goal sheet so go ahead and keep this one. We will be updating it after spring football. Keep working hard and give me a call if you need anything. I’ll be in touch. |
P.S. Your immediate team goal is a good one. It’s probably the most important thing for our team. One of the Star Chamber members will be in charge of this goal. In fact, you will all have a specific responsibility. You’ll never guess what yours is. I will tell you in late May or June. |
