Eric  was a two year varsity letterman for the Vikings from 2009 to 2010. Known for his tough play and unselfish team attitude Eric finished his varsity career with  201 defensive points.  His senior season he led all varsity defensive backs with 172 total points. He was in on 67 total tackles that included 44 unassisted stops and also recorded four break-ups . In addition to his outstanding leadership skills which he demonstrated as the Star Chamber leader in 2010 Eric was also an outstanding student and was a two-time selection to the Union  Tribune  All-Academic team in both his junior and senior seasons. His senior year Eric received the 2010 Defensive Coaches Award for his outstanding play and leadership.  Eric also earned  Honorable Mention All-Western League defensive honors in 2010. Eric will always be remembered for not only his solid play on the field but also for his commitment to his teammates and the program.
