A two-year varsity letterman and a graduate of the class of 2002, Eddie was a very determined player who made a total commitment to the program both on and off the field. In an effort to prepare for his senior year, Eddie finished both his 40-G and weight room commitments and went on to provide the secondary with much needed leadership and support on the playing field. His willingness to step forward and assume this responsibility was recognized by his coach and he was selected as leader of the Star Chamber in 2001. His senior year Eddie played in all 11 games and started in six of them. His knowledge of both the corner and safety positions provided the defensive backs with much needed experience. Eddie helped all of his teammates in the secondary gain an understanding of what was expected of them at their positions. This help was very much appreciated by his coach and he will always be remembered for his dedication to the program. For his varsity career Eddie scored 57 defensive points on 17 tackles and 4 break-ups and was also a major contributor on special teams. Eddie is a member of the County All-Academic Team and carries a 3.16 GPA. His pictures can be found in the 2001 photo section.
