Dear Mike,

I am hoping that all the members of the Star Chamber are present and accounted for. I have an envelope for each one of you. After reading this letter (and the one attached) out loud to the other members, I want you to distribute the envelopes to each member. I want each one of them to read their letter out loud too.

Each one of you will have a special responsibility this year. You will carry a number or a letter on your helmets to always remind you of what this special responsibility is. Of course, only you guys will know what the symbols stand for. No one else is to know.

If one of you couldn’t make it, open his letter and read it to the others. I will get together with this individual later on. Let me know if anyone was absent. Mike, go ahead and read your letter now, and make sure everyone keeps his letter. You might need it later on.
