Dear Ryan,

I am enclosing an article that I think will be helpful to you in planning your off-season workouts. When we talked earlier about your personal goals we discussed the importance of building speed through weight training. This article is right on point. The only thing that we do not have is an electronic timer, but all the other things you will be able to do.Perhaps you can do your running workouts with Mike (Breadstick Man) or possibly Jon.I am sending Jon a copy of the article too. I think if we work at it, we will be able to make Jon understand that we would like very much to have him become a part of our group. When I say part of our group I mean not only a playing member of our secondary, but a positive leader as well. I want Jon to feel like he belongs and I want all the DB”s to feel the same way about him.

I very much enjoyed seeing all of you last Tuesday night. I will be working on building our Star Chamber for the upcoming year. Like I told you earlier, I want to make it a group website, something that all of you have ownership in. Our dinner was a good way to start doing things as a group. Make sure you come to see me or call if you have anything you need help with.
